Preston County Buckwheat Festival

About

Held annually in Kingwood, the Preston County Buckwheat Festival has celebrated the region's buckwheat farming heritage since 1938. Now a five-day event drawing tens of thousands, it features live music, parades, carnival rides, arts and crafts, and buckwheat cakes and sausage. Organized by the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department with strong community volunteer support.
