Running for over 24 years, Pumpkintown is a free festival in historic downtown Athens drawing 25,000 attendees each October. The event celebrates East Tennessee's cultural heritage with Native American traditions, local history displays, live entertainment, crafts and info vendors, a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, food trucks, and regional museum programming. Strong foot traffic and a family-focused audience across all ages.
