Putnam County Fair

Held each late March in East Palatka, Putnam County Fair has been running since 1950 as a nine-day community fixture drawing 30,000+ visitors. Indoor exhibitor spaces feature a mix of hand-crafted wares, local businesses, civic organizations, and government agencies—booths run 10–30 feet wide depending on availability. Outdoor spaces open to food vendors and non-food commercials, though both are currently at capacity. Past vendors get priority on December 1 application deadline; new vendors fill available slots on first-come basis. Requires liability insurance, sales tax certificate, and fire marshal permits (food). Vendors must attend all nine days with setup Thursday prior; refunds forfeit after February 1. Agricultural competitions, livestock shows, creative arts, and midway rides anchor a strong local draw.
