Rain Day Festival

About

Held in Waynesburg each July 29 for its 153rd year, Rain Day Festival is the only outdoor festival where rain is a welcome guest. Since its first recorded rainfall in 1874, it's rained 119 out of 152 years. The event moved to Fountain and Monument parks near Waynesburg University in 2021, spreading across four acres with live entertainment, vendor and artisan booths, and shaded areas. The festival features arts and crafts vendors, food, live entertainment on two stages, and children's activities. It's a free community tradition attracting thousands. Vendors must be properly registered to sell.
