Rhododendron Festival

Held each May in Florence, Oregon's Coastal Playground, the Rhododendron Festival (affectionately "Rhody Fest") is the second-oldest floral festival in Oregon and a multigenerational tradition. The third full weekend brings a classic small-town festival: grand floral parade, classic car show, rhododendron exhibits and sales, art shows, vendors, live entertainment, carnival rides, and a 5K run. Wild rhododendrons bloom naturally along the coast each spring, and the American Rhododendron Society supports the event. Families return year after year—many plan reunions around it.
