Richmond County Fair
Staten Island, New York
About
Since 1895, the Richmond County Fair has anchored Staten Island's Labor Day weekend. Hosted at Historic Richmond Town for over four decades, it draws 15,000+ visitors celebrating local business, culture, and community through vendors, performances, and competitions. Food & Beverage vendors must secure all required licenses, permits, and inspection certificates; those using propane, gas, or chafing fuel need FDNY-compliant fire extinguishers (inspected on-site). General liability insurance required, naming the Staten Island Historical Society and City of New York as additional insureds. Vendors supply their own tables, chairs, and tents; displays must be set by 10 a.m. and stay until 8:15 p.m. Limited electricity available to Tier I vendors (max 15 amps per space, non-shareable). Non-profit organizations in arts, culture, and social service can apply for the Staten Island Culture Crawl tier at the main entrance—no fundraising permitted during the event.
