River Festival

About

Held each August in Green River, the River Festival is a two-day celebration centered on the Green River itself. Friday night kicks off with music, beer, vendors, food trucks, and a Cajun shrimp boil, followed by fireworks. Saturday brings a marathon/half/10K/5K that runs past wild horses, a Great Duck Race at noon (you don't have to be present to win), a car & bike show, and live DJ. Strong foot traffic and a mix of food vendors, craft vendors, and local businesses.
