Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry

Held in historic Virginia City, the 35th annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry is a St. Patrick's Day–season festival drawing over 3,000 attendees around amateur and professional oyster-cook competitions, live Irish music from the Black Irish Band, a saloon crawl with cocktail voting, costume contest, and parade. Cooks compete for 'Best Of' and 'People's Choice' titles with beef testicles prepared grilled, smoked, fried, or in tacos. Register as a vendor or compete as a cook — rain or shine, nonrefundable.
