Safford Harvest Festival

About

Held in Safford on the City Hall lawn each October, the Harvest Festival is the city's longest-tenured event, featuring pumpkin carving contests for children and adults, pumpkin rolling, gunny-sack races, costume contests, live local performances, and vendors. The Harvest Festival is the longest-tenured event the city organizes itself. It typically draws up to 1,000 persons annually. The city waived all vendor space fees to encourage more exhibits. All activities are free except for the Haunted Hall, which requests a non-perishable food item or new toiletry donation for local food banks.
