Sanford Farmers' Market

About

Held in downtown Sanford at the newly opened Pilgrim's Sanford Agricultural Marketplace, this producers-only market runs Saturdays and Wednesdays from April through November. A 100-mile-radius sourcing rule draws farmers, ranchers, fishers, beekeepers, bakers, food entrepreneurs, and artisans—expect produce, meat, seafood, baked goods, honey, fermented goods, cut flowers, and artisan crafts. The permanent facility includes a commercial kitchen and hosts year-round educational programming through NC Cooperative Extension. SNAP, WIC, and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program accepted; Market Double Bucks available.
