Sausalito Art Festival

Status uncertain. Since 1952, the Sausalito Art Festival has been recognized as one of America's premier outdoor art festivals. More than 270 artists in 14 disciplines exhibit and sell 25,000 works of art drawing 35,000 collectors and visitors annually. The festival is held annually on Labor Day Weekend in Sausalito California. However, the festival was canceled in 2021 when a homeless encampment moved into Marinship Park, and although the encampment was removed in 2022, the park is still closed and in disrepair. The Sausalito Art Festival Foundation has explored many other locations but each was deemed unacceptable for an event even half the size of the Sausalito Art Festival. Vendors should confirm current status and venue before applying.
