Schenectady Greenmarket

Schenectady, New York

About

Schenectady Greenmarket is a year-round producer-only market operating Sundays outdoors (May–October) and indoors (November–April). It's one of the Capital Region's most popular farmers markets, drawing a community-focused crowd looking for fresh local produce and artisan goods. The market actively seeks farmers, food producers, and artisans making locally produced, high-quality products. They're especially interested in wine, prepared foods (farm-to-table), gelato, grains, and ground flour. However, they're unlikely to accept new vendors in soaps, lotions, candles, jewelry, bread, baked goods, distilled alcohol, honey, pesto, or hummus due to current vendor mix and space constraints. All vendors are subject to inspection and must comply with applicable state and local certifications (sales tax, food processor licensing, permits, plant certificates, etc.). Applications reviewed twice yearly.
