Popular Southern Highland Games circuit event on a 46-acre site at the John Blue House / NC Rural Heritage Center. Saturday main event features Scottish and Celtic entertainers, athletic competitions (caber toss), EUSPBA-sanctioned pipe bands and solo piping/drumming, Highland dance competitions, clan tents, Scottish fiddle/harp, sheep dog demonstrations, Scottish/Celtic vendors, food. Friday Highland Fling is free at McDuffie Square downtown.
