Separation Day and Vintage Market

New Castle, Delaware

About

Separation Day is the annual celebration of Delaware's independence from Pennsylvania and the British Crown, held in Historic New Castle and among the longest-running traditions in the state. Friday evening brings music, food, and drink in the center of town. Saturday opens with a Colonial-inspired parade, followed by an Artisan & Vintage market, children's rides, live music, a beer garden, and food prepared by community groups, closing with fireworks over the Delaware River. The vendor track is the Artisan & Vintage market, which takes both handmade and vintage sellers.
