Sequim Irrigation Festival
Sequim, Washington
About
Sequim Irrigation Festival, running since 1896, is Washington's oldest continuously running festival. Held each May, it celebrates the irrigation ditches that brought water from the Dungeness River to the prairie — a feat engineered by D.R. "Crazy" Callen and partners. The festival features a parade, car show, and family events. The Creative Collective is the vendor fair at the Sequim Irrigation Festival, formerly the Arts & Crafts Fair. It has expanded beyond handmade goods to accept direct sales, home-based businesses, and small business vendors alongside local makers. Handmade artists, bakers, and decorators remain the core, with the broader mix adding home goods and business services. The fair includes food, entertainment, demonstrations, and photo ops.
