Shepherdstown Street Fest

Running since 2005, Shepherdstown StreetFest has been one of the best fine arts & craft festivals in the region. Held on German Street in downtown Shepherdstown—the state's oldest town—the festival occupies 2 blocks on either side of King Street. The event features 70+ vendors and draws approximately 8,000 attendees. Two stages host live music: the intimate library stage behind the historic white library in the beer garden, and the main stage with room for dancing. SSF looks for artisans who hand craft their work, and artisans and food vendors are separated onto German Street and King Street respectively. The festival donates all proceeds to two nonprofits annually—one regional, one local.
