Slugburger Festival

About

Held each July in Corinth, the Slugburger Festival celebrates the town's iconic 1917 sandwich — a fried patty of ground beef mixed with filler (potato flakes, soybean grits, or cornmeal), served with mustard, onions, and pickles. Vendors and food carts line the streets offering traditional and modern takes on the slugburger. Beyond food, the festival draws crowds with live music, Slug Idol vocal competition, a family carnival, car show, and the Slug Market vendor area. Strong foot traffic and an established local following.
