The SOCO Creative Arts Festival closes Kennewick Ave from Dayton to Washington Street in Downtown Kennewick on Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Artist Alley anchors the vendor side, with local makers selling crafts, handmade items, food, and other goods. The festival is built as a collection of smaller events across downtown: an outdoor quilt show, a woodworkers show and street sale, a tiny art showcase, a literature and independent bookseller trail, gallery shows at local wineries, live music, art demonstrations, and competitions. Several are hosted by individual downtown businesses, so vendor participation may run through more than one organizer.
