About
The East Bay's largest street festival, running since 1974 along roughly a mile of Solano Avenue spanning both Berkeley and Albany under a single Solano Avenue Association recruitment. Over 400 vendors including about 100 artisans, jewelers and makers, 25 food booths and 50 entertainers, drawing 100,000+ attendees. Spaces are 10x10 on closed street; no electricity and no hardware provided. Registration opens April 16; a $68 Meridian safety fee applies to every space, and craft fees rise to $325 after June 15. Food vendors choose a Berkeley or Albany permit jurisdiction on the application.
