The Soldotna Wednesday Market runs weekly from the first Wednesday in June through the last Wednesday in August, 11 AM to 6 PM. Started in 2007 with five vendors, it now hosts over 60 — food vendors, crafters, home-based businesses, and fresh Alaska-grown produce. An evening concert with a beer garden sponsored by the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce starts at 6 PM. Most vendors stay through it, though not all, so the concert crowd represents an optional extra selling window rather than a required one. The riverside setting with picnic tables draws both locals and summer visitors, making this a strong fit for vendors selling to the tourist season.
