South Franklin Catfish Festival

About

Held each May in Wisner, South Franklin Catfish Festival has grown into the biggest day on the calendar for South Franklin Parish. Expect fried catfish from Haring's, live music, classic cars, an Art & Flower Show running all day, and a strong vendor mix of crafts and food. Families and longtime friends gather — foot traffic skews toward locals who've marked this on their calendar since it started six years ago.
