Southdown Marketplace

Houma, Louisiana

About

Southdown Marketplace is a one-day juried artisan craft festival held each April and November at Southdown Plantation in Houma, featuring 300+ vendors with handmade jewelry, clothing, wood crafts, original art, garden items, and seasonal goods. All proceeds benefit the Terrebonne Historical & Cultural Society and Southdown Plantation & Museum, a non-profit that receives no government funding. Vendors are evaluated on the quality and type of their work and application date; returning vendors get priority for booth placement.
