The Stowe Foliage Arts Festival is a juried art, craft, music, and food festival is surrounded by peak autumn foliage and mountain views. More than 125 juried artists and artisans exhibit — fine artists, craft makers, personal care producers, and spirits and wine exhibitors — all selected on quality, originality, and craftsmanship. Live music plays in the dining tent throughout the weekend, alongside specialty food vendors and regional beverages. The juried format means acceptance isn't guaranteed, and the emphasis is on original fine art and craft rather than general merchandise. Foliage timing brings visitors traveling for the season, not just local shoppers.
