Syrup Sopping Day at Loachapoka

Syrup Sopping Day is held each October in downtown Loachapoka at Pioneer Park, celebrating syrup-making heritage with tastings, live music, and family activities. The event is sponsored by the Lee County Historical Society and drew over 110 arts and crafts, food, and general vendors. Vendor spaces are split between the north and south sides of Highway 14. Returning vendors can hold their prior locations through May; after that, spots go first-paid-first-reserved, so new applicants should plan to pay early to get a good position.
