The Tanana Valley State Fair runs 10 days in late summer at Aurora Drive and College Road in Fairbanks. Founded in 1924, it's Alaska's oldest fair and the largest attended event in Fairbanks, gathering hundreds of vendors and drawing thousands of visitors. Ten days is a substantial commitment — plan for staffing rotations and inventory depth rather than a weekend setup.
