Taos Fall Arts Festival

About

Founded in 1973, Taos Fall Arts Festival is held each September–October in Taos at Bataan Hall. The open show welcomes all Taos county residents and artists represented by local galleries. More than 200 artists submit a broad array of work including paintings and photographs, mixed media, sculpture, fashion, music, dance, digital art, culinary arts, written and spoken word, furniture and jewelry, as well as miniature paintings. Satellite shows take place at gallery and studio spaces in the various "art districts" of Taos, and THE PASEO places creative and interactive installations around Taos Plaza and Kit Carson Park the week before the festival.
