Tehama District Fair

About

The county's four-day district fair, combining livestock shows and junior exhibitor competitions with a carnival, rodeo, freestyle motocross, destruction derby and truck and tractor pulls. Outside selling space is sold by frontage width, with non-profit exhibit space priced separately and lower. Food concessions pay a minimum against a percentage of gross, whichever is greater, and must file daily sales reports at the fair office. Space is not held until a signed contract, remittance and proof of one million dollars in liability coverage are returned; health permits are required for all food concessions and on-grounds camping is available for a flat fee.
