Texas State Forest Festival

About

Held in Lufkin each September, the Texas State Forest Festival draws more than 13,000 visitors to the George H. Henderson Exposition Center for a four-day celebration featuring carnival rides, live music, competitions (BBQ, axe throwing, car show), wildlife exhibits, wood carving demonstrations, and family activities. Vendor Market Days take place on Saturday and Sunday — expect handmade items, gifts, home goods, specialty foods, and local small businesses.
