The inaugural Ballad of West Virginia Music Festival in Barboursville celebrates Appalachian music and culture with 10 artists spanning indie folk, Southern Gothic, roots, and country. Held at Barboursville Amphitheater, the festival pairs a full day of music (11 a.m.–10:30 p.m.) with local artist tabling from 9 a.m.–5 p.m., giving local makers direct access to an engaged crowd.
