Held twice each year since debuting in spring 2014, The Hip Handmade Market is a curated indie-craft market offering contemporary handmade goods by local and regional artists—paper goods, accessories, photography, paintings, and more. A selection committee of past vendors and local business owners vets applications to ensure products are homemade. First-time vendors can apply for scholarships, and the market features live workshops, giveaways, a photo booth, and a bar with food.
