Trumansburg Fair (Tompkins County Fair)

Held in Trumansburg in late August, the Trumansburg Fair is in its 174th year and draws over 17,500 attendees to the Tompkins County Fairgrounds. The fair runs six days and features Coleman Bros. Shows on the midway (celebrating 108 years), live music and performance acts, agricultural and domestic goods exhibits, animal competitions across dairy cattle, beef cattle, sheep, goats, and alpacas, youth programs, demolition derbies, figure 8 races, and a firemen's parade. Horse pulling contests, youth horse shows, and draft horse shows round out the livestock mix. Food vendors, artisans, and craft exhibitors compete alongside farmers and producers. Strong regional draw with established crowds.
