Tunkhannock Founders Day

About

Held in Tunkhannock each June, Founder's Day brings together 150+ vendors selling home décor, wood crafts, custom metalwork, jewelry, paintings, photography, fabric arts, farm fresh food, and specialty items. The day includes live music at three locations, an expanded Family Fun Zone with games and activities for kids, food vendors (including the popular Haluski and Pierogies from Nativity BVM Church), and a tasting tent featuring local distillery and cider offerings. Tioga Street closes to traffic, and shuttle parking is available to ease congestion. The historic Reading & Northern steam locomotive also returns this year as a photo opportunity in Riverside Park.
