University District Farmers Market has been running since 1993 and is Seattle's largest and oldest farm-and-food-only market featuring over 80 booths at peak season and is regularly recognized as one of the best farmers markets in the U.S. The market has a core group of longtime vendors—farmers and food artisans who've been there since the start—that give it a strong community atmosphere despite the size.
