About
Held in Leonardtown, the US Oyster Festival draws almost 10,000 people to St. Mary's County each October for two days celebrating Chesapeake Bay heritage and oyster culture, culminating in the US National Oyster Shucking Championship. The festival welcomes artisans, food vendors, food trucks, and community organizations. All vendors and exhibitors must staff their booths for the full event and provide their own tents, tables, and signage.
