Van Wert County Fair

About

Held in Van Wert, the county fair has been running since 1856 and pulls over 250 vendors each September—a mix of food vendors, craft producers, and commercial exhibitors. Space fills quickly, especially in the Commercial Building; renewal contracts available now for 2026. The fair includes truck pulls, demo derbies, livestock shows, and harness racing alongside a strong food and artisan vendor lineup. Junior and Senior Fair programming runs simultaneously.
