Villages Mardi Gras Festival

About

Held at Lake Sumter Landing, the Mardi Gras Festival has recently relocated there. Traditionally held on Fat Tuesday, each year this festival draws 8,000–12,000 people, and is one of Central Florida's biggest Mardi Gras celebrations. Featuring food, music, games and more, the event is free to attend and draws a well-established crowd of residents and visitors.
