Warsaw Veterans Day Celebration

Held in Warsaw each November, this event began in 1921 and is the oldest continuously observed Veterans Day celebration in the United States. It was adopted by North Carolina's General Assembly in 2016 as the official Veterans Day Parade of the state. The parade features more than 140 participating units including seven fire departments and dozens of local businesses. The event typically draws 25+ vendors, and includes a multi-act concert immediately following the parade. A Kids Zone offers bounce houses, cornhole, mini golf and outdoor games. Strong draw from military personnel stationed at nearby bases.
