Washington County Fair

Richmond, Rhode Island

About

Held in Richmond each August, Rhode Island's largest agricultural fair showcases over 130 food and craft vendors alongside tractor and horse pulls, livestock shows, and nightly live music. Operating since 1967 and run by the Washington County Pomona Grange, the fair maintains an authentic county-fair character rooted in agricultural heritage. Vendors must carry $1 million liability insurance and an RI sales permit (which the fair can provide for a small fee). Standard booth is 10' x 10' with 15-amp electrical service; vendors must staff booths during all fair hours and remain open through closing each day.
