Festival

West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival

Clarksburg, West Virginia

About

Held each Labor Day weekend, the festival was started in 1979 and draws huge crowds for a three-day street festival with blocks closed to traffic between Main Street's 2nd and 4th streets. Vendors include food vendors and craft vendors, with food as the primary focus — over two dozen Italian dishes from local food and artisan vendors selling everything from traditional fare to smoked meats. The festival includes a coronation ceremony, annual pasta cook-off, 5K run, and golf tournament, plus continuous live music and entertainment throughout the three days.
