West Virginia Oil and Gas Festival

About

Held in Sistersville in September, the West Virginia Oil and Gas Festival has been honoring the region's oil and gas heritage since 1969. The multi-day event features a grand parade with elaborate floats, the crowning of festival royalty, carnival rides, food vendors, and evening concerts. Activities include engine displays, crafts, commercial booths, car shows, and Band-a-rama. Over 20 vendors and a flea market participate, with entries accepted for crafts, commercial booths, and flea market. Admission is free.
