Westfest

West, Texas

About

In its 49th year, Westfest is held each Labor Day weekend in West, Texas, a community with roughly 2,500 people that draws about 20,000 people. Founded in 1976 as a means for the West community to raise funds for a variety of projects, the festival salutes the area's Czech heritage with 12 bands and 40 hours of polka music. The weekend event features carnival, arts and crafts, food vendors, and entertainment. Marketplace and food vendor applications are now open with a March 31, 2026 deadline.
