Wickford Art Festival

About

Produced by the Wickford Art Association since 1962, in its 63rd year, Wickford Art Festival is one of the longest running outdoor fine art festivals in New England and ranked #5 best fine art festival in the USA by Sunshine Artist Magazine. Held in historic Wickford Village at Wilson Park, the juried festival hosts over 200 artists showcasing fine art in ceramics, wood, wearable and decorative fiber, fine jewelry, drawing, etching, glass, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, pyrography, and sculptures. Work is juried on originality, workmanship and professional presentation. Rhode Island requires all artists to hold an Annual or Temporary Retail Sales Permit; original and limited-edition artwork is exempt from sales tax. The festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year.
