Wild Chicken Festival

About

Held in Fitzgerald each March, Wild Chicken Festival draws around 12,000 attendees for a two-day event featuring artisans, crafts, and food vendors — plus a Friday night street dance. Vendors are responsible for Georgia sales tax collection and reporting. No rain date; vehicles must clear the exhibit area by 8:30 am Saturday. Food vendors must meet Georgia health codes; preference given to professional wagons and trailers. Breakdown is not permitted until 5 pm Saturday.
