Wyoming Sheep & Wool Festival

About

Held in Powell in late July and early August, the Wyoming Sheep & Wool Festival brings together sheep ranchers, fiber artists, vendors, and demonstrators at the Park County Fairgrounds. The event features a professionally juried art & woolcraft exhibition, shearing and sheep-to-shawl demonstrations, vendor fair, sheepdog trials, educational workshops on wool production and sustainable grazing, and a lamb dinner. Demonstrators—rug hookers, spinners, weavers—are actively recruited alongside craft and fiber vendors.
