Yadkin Valley Pumpkin Festival

About

In Elkin, the 29th annual Yadkin Valley Pumpkin Festival takes over Main Street with live music, craft vendors, food, antiques, and pumpkin-themed activities. The centerpiece is the Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off — giant pumpkins and watermelons from East Coast growers compete, with some exceeding 1,000 lbs. Kid Zone features bounce houses, petting zoo, and pony rides. Vendor mix includes pottery, wood furnishings, handcrafted gifts, baked goods, BBQ, and seasonal items like pumpkin butter.
