Bluff Park Art Show

Show
Hoover, AL·Oct 3, 2026

The Bluff Park Art Show is a juried outdoor fine-art show held on the first Saturday in October in Hoover, Alabama, inside the Birmingham metro area. It's a one-day event hosting roughly 130 to 150 artists, with the 2025 show drawing artists from 12 states along with a number of first-time exhibitors. Jurying is blind: applications require four digital photos — three of the work and one booth shot with no identifying marks — and artists working in multiple mediums must submit a separate application for each category. Collaborative teams of up to two are welcome, and applicants must be 18 or older. Because the jury is competitive, acceptance is not guaranteed. The setting is a wooded, shady neighborhood park with a children's art area, live music, and Food Truck Alley. Patrons arrive by shuttle, and an "art car" delivers larger purchases to buyers' vehicles. The show is run by the Bluff Park Art Association, a nonprofit that puts proceeds toward arts programming in schools and the community, and it appears regularly on the Alabama Tourism Department's Top Events list.
