The San Leandro Cherry Festival has filled downtown's Estudillo Avenue every June since 1909. Its 7 events keep downtown busy the rest of the year: Second Fridays at Butterfly Plaza, a juried artisan market every second Sunday, and a December holiday night market at Pelton Center — plus farmers markets at Bayfair Center on Saturdays and downtown on Tuesdays.
