Downtown Vacaville keeps its fall busy: the Downtown Shakedown car and art show in September, Market by Moonlight on Main Street in October, and the Holly Days Vendor Fair in November. Rounding out its 7 events: Vaca-Con's artist alley at the Ulatis Cultural Center in April, summer's Fiesta Days, and farmers markets on Saturdays and Tuesdays year-round.
Downtown Shakedown Car and Art Show

Fall Market by Moonlight
ArtisanEvening open-air market through Vacaville's historic downtown, run by the Downtown Vacaville Business Improvement District, with a stated goal of growing past 200 vendors. Booth spaces are 10x10 and vendors supply their own pop-up canopy. Four separate applications run in parallel: artisans/retailers, hot and pre-packaged food, farmers/producers, and non-profit or informational booths. Vacaville business license and CA seller's permit required; food vendors also need a Solano County health permit and liability insurance. Application fees are charged at submission and booth fees on approval; all charges are non-refundable.
Holly Days Vendor Fair
HolidayHoliday shopping kickoff staged across Merchant, Main and Parker Streets in downtown Vacaville by the Downtown Vacaville Business Improvement District. Boutique shops and artisan vendors sell through the festive downtown core. The BID runs this on the same Eventeny vendor pipeline as its Shakedown and Market by Moonlight events, with the Holly Days application posted closer to the event date.

Vaca-Con
ShowCity of Vacaville pop-culture convention at the Ulatis Cultural Center. Artist Alley and the Exhibitor Hall give local artists and vendors selling space, alongside panels, celebrity guests, a cosplay contest at the Performing Arts Theatre, a kids zone, car show and food trucks. Vendor booths route through the City of Vacaville special events vendor application, which distinguishes high-risk food vendors (insurance required) from low-risk handmade craft sellers.

Vacaville Fiesta Days

Applications for the 2026 cycle are closed.
