Launched in December 2025 by the German American Chamber of Commerce – Colorado Chapter, building on 25 years of success with Denver's Christkindlmarket, the OCC Christkindlmarket brings authentic German holiday tradition to Old Colorado City on a smaller scale with 10 handcrafted wooden huts, authentic German food, drinks, and cultural entertainment. The 2026 event returns with expanded site, extended dates, and more vendors. Free and open to all, the market prioritizes local partnerships, including local vendors, artists, and performers. The 2025 inaugural event boosted the local economy with small businesses seeing sales increases up to 50%. New vendor applications will be considered in spring 2026.

Its walkable setting in the heart of historic Old Colorado City makes it easy to pair a morning of shopping with brunch and a browse through nearby shops.
