Clear Lake's 4th of July celebration runs early July in downtown Clear Lake next to City Park, anchored by the Evans United Shows Carnival (running since 1973), a traditional parade, live music, fireworks, and an open-air vendor market. The Lakeside Vendor Market draws jewelry makers, crafts artisans, garden art, custom t-shirt vendors, and woodworkers. Note: food vendors must contract directly with Evans United Shows.

Held in Clear Lake during Lakefest Weekend, Art in the Park is a juried fine-art and fine-craft fair drawing about 75 artists to City Park. The event includes food vending and artist demonstrations. Iowa Sales Tax ID or EIN required.

Clear Lake Farmers Market runs Saturday mornings at the Surf Ballroom parking lot through October.
